Indigenous Historical Play – Call for Submissions

This spring, New Rep Education is producing our second ever Historical Moving Play centering the stories of local Indigenous People. We are currently seeking an all-Indigenous team from the Greater Boston Area to join playwright Mwalim *7) and director Jaime Carrillo.

New Rep actively seeks diversity, equity and inclusivity because we know that all people are vital and that their stories are our stories. Actors of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, gender identities, and actors with disabilities are strongly encouraged to audition.

Additionally, New Rep is in search of Consensus Organizers, for hire, to integrate into the creation process, assist in curation of engagement events and help in cultivation of new audiences.

New Rep currently does not have any open staff positions. Artists interested in collaborating with New Rep should please contact Hannah Huling (Director of Production).

Internships

New Rep offers internships for college credit only in the fall, spring, and summer semesters. Interns may apply to work in any of the areas of arts administration: Artistic, General Management, Production, Development, Marketing & Communications, and Patron Services.

All internships for the Spring 2021 semester have been filled.

Volunteer

Volunteer with New Rep as a member of our Ambassador Program! Ambassadors work to bring new audience members to New Rep, and serve as a liaison between their guests and the company.

New Rep is always accepting volunteers to serve as ushers, help with mailings and tasks around the office, etc.
