New Rep Gala 2008 Raffle Official Rules

GENERAL INFORMATION:
The Sponsor of the New Rep Raffle (the "Contest") is New Repertory Theatre, Inc., 200 Dexter Avenue, Watertown, MA 02472 ("SPONSOR" or "New Rep"). New Rep is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Raffle proceeds will benefit New Rep productions and outreach programs.

This Contest is void where prohibited or restricted by law. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules. Contest is open only to legal residents of the U.S. age 18 or over who meet the eligibility requirements as detailed in these Official Rules.

The Contest begins on Tuesday, February 26, 2008 and ends on May 7, 2008 at 12:00 p.m. Winner will be notified via e-mail or telephone on or before May 18, 2008. Names of the prize winners can be obtained by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to New Repertory Theatre, 200 Dexter Avenue, Watertown, MA 02472.

Prizes can be viewed at the New Repertory Theatre Administrative Office from 10AM - 6PM from April 1, 2008 – May 7, 2008.

ELIGIBILITY:
The Contest is offered to all natural persons age 18 and over as of the date of entry, who are legal residents of the U.S.

HOW TO ENTER:

Eligible persons can enter by purchasing a raffle ticket from the New Repertory Theatre Staff, Board, or designated members. Two Hundred and Fifty (250) tickets will be sold at $25.00 for each raffle ticket.

DRAWING:
One (1) raffle ticket will be drawn.

PRIZE:
1st Prize: A collection of gift certificates to Boston-area restaurants including Radius, Stellina, and UpStairs on the Square. Value: $1,000.

ADDITIONAL TERMS:
SPONSOR is not responsible for and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected or unsuccessful efforts to notify the winner. Each winner may be required to sign and return a liability release, declaration or affidavit of eligibility, and, where lawful, publicity consent agreement, all within 15 days of receipt by winner as a condition of receiving prize. If a winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim a prize or fails to timely return completed and executed declaration/affidavit and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Massachusetts Law states that the value of the prize will be treated as ordinary income to the winner for federal and income tax purposes and the winners(s) may be required to pre-pay a portion of the tax liability prior to receiving the prize. The Internal Revenue Service takes the position that no portion of the ticket price will qualify as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes
