Need to come at a different time? Just Email your request to tickets@newrep.org or call the Box Office at 617-923-8487 no later than the day before your scheduled performance and we will be happy to exchange your tickets for you! An upgrade fee of $6.00 or $8.00 will apply if you move to a more expensive night. Exchanges to a performance that is the same price as your original performance are still FREE!
Subscriber missed performance insurance, or exchanges with less than 24 hours notice: If you missed your performance or you find out the day of the show that you can not make it that night, don’t worry – you can still see the same show on a different night. Just call the box office as soon as you know you are not going to be able to attend and we will exchange your tickets right away! That’s correct: RIGHT AWAY!
An Exchange fee will apply to all exchanges under this insurance privilege: $3.00 if you exchange into a night with the same or lower prices, and $9.00 or $11.00 if you exchange into a more expensive night.
Subscribers: Follow these easy steps to exchange your tickets!
- Determine the date and time when you cannot attend.
- Using the performance calendar, select an alternate date and time when you want to attend.
- Call the box office at 617-923-8487 or email tickets@newrep.org. Tell us the last name and the phone number the subscription was purchased in; your phone number, if different from the subscription phone number; the date and time you’re exchanging from; and the date and time you want. Be sure to mention any special seating needs, including friends you would like to sit with.
- Once the exchange is complete, mark your old tickets as “invalid.” Bring them with you when you come to the theater, and we will have your new tickets waiting at the door for you.
- If you email or leave a voicemail, we will return your message as soon as possible.
Ticket exchanges for non-subscribers:
Holders of tickets to individual shows may also exchange their tickets in person at the Box Office. Non-subscriber exchanges cannot be processed over the phone or via email. Exchanges that are made by 6:00 pm the night before the scheduled show will be charged a fee of $10.00 per ticket. Exchanges that are made the day of or after the scheduled show will be charged a fee of $15.00 per ticket. If tickets are exchanged for more expensive seats, the customer will pay the difference in the ticket price on top of the Exchange Fee. The Box Office will not process ticket exchanges after 6 pm.
All ticket exchanges are subject to availability. Remember that some shows sell out, so the sooner you can submit your exchange request, the more likely we will be able to accommodate you.
