This above all—to thine own self be true;
And it must follow, as the night the
day, Thou canst not then be false to any man.
- POLONIOUS
The King of Denmark is dead, and his brother Claudius inherits the throne and marries the Queen. Prince Hamlet is still mourning when the ghost of his father visits him, accusing Claudius of his murder. Swearing vengeance, Hamlet hides behind a pretense of madness, while ferreting out the details of Claudius’ treachery. Moral corruption and the uncertainty of truth characterize humanity’s tragic lot in Shakespeare’s masterpiece.
On Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 7:30pm we invite New Rep patrons, donors, and theater aficionados to join us for a special performance of New Rep On Tour’s production of Hamlet.
A $20.00 donation is suggested for this performance. All proceeds go towards NEW REP ON TOUR.
Please call the Box Office at 617-923-8487 to reserve tickets or for more information.
