New Rep's 2010 Gala, our biggest party and fundraiser of the year, held on Monday, May 10th, was a smashing success and a great time for all! Two hundred guests began the evening with a glass of champagne at the Commander's Mansion, sampled delectable bites from our restaurant partners, bid on fantastic silent auction items, and rubbed elbows with some of New Rep's favorite artists. After honoring Bank of America for its 10 years of support of New Rep, announcing raffle prize winners, and getting in a few last minute bids, the fun continued at the Arsenal Center for the Arts.
The Charles Mosesian Theater played host to some of New Rep's favorite performers, including Mary Callanan, Aimee Doherty, Will Lyman, and Timothy John Smith. Between being treated to songs from this season's and next season's musicals, the audience pledged over $20,000 to support New Rep On Tour.
After the show, the fun continued! Guests danced away in the Black Box Theater, which had been transformed into a disco for the night. We're already looking forward to more good times next year! Here are some pictures highlighting the evening:
