New Rep Retains AlbertHall & Associates to Conduct Search for New Artistic Director

New Repertory Theatre announced today that it has secured AlbertHall & Associates, LLC to conduct an extensive national search for its new Artistic Director. Stephen J. Albert, Principal of AlbertHall & Associates, will be the consultant and actively work with New Repertory Theatre's Search Committee, which is composed of both Board Members and Staff, to find an Artistic Director that will embrace and enhance New Rep's mission. The search will begin immediately, and the position will be advertised both locally and nationally.

Mr. Stephen J. Albert's career in arts management spans over twenty-five years with some of America's most prestigious theatres including the Mark Taper Forum, the Alley Theatre, and Hartford Stage Company. An innovative executive, consultant, and accomplished leader, he is nationally recognized for his efforts in achieving strategic innovation in highly complex, creative environments. Mr. Albert has served both as President and Vice-President of the League of Resident Theatres (LORT), and as a member of the Board of Directors and an officer of Theatre Communications Group (TCG). Mr. Albert is a Senior Fellow with the American Leadership Forum and a graduate of the University of Southern California. He holds an MBA from the UCLA Graduate School of Management and is certified in group facilitations and organizational planning by the Institute for Cultural Affairs.
