THE GLASS MENAGERIE
by Tennessee Williams
Directed by Adam Zahler
On Tour: October 31 - December 16, 2005
A drama of great tenderness, charm and beauty, The Glass Menagerie is one of the famous works of the modern theatre. Set in St. Louis in the 1930s, Tennessee Williams’ classic memory play explores the lives of Amanda Wingfield, a faded Southern belle, her dreamer son Tom, who yearns to escape, and her painfully withdrawn daughter Laura. The Glass Menagerie established Williams among the ranks of major 20th-century playwrights.
